What spandex actually does
Two-way stretch gives movement along one axis; four-way stretch moves and recovers in every direction, which is what clinicians notice when bending and lifting. Crucially, quality elastane recovers — it returns to shape rather than bagging at the knees and elbows after a few wears.
How we blend it
We add spandex to poly-rayon, polyester and cotton bases depending on the feel and price you need. More spandex means more give and more cost; we tune the ratio to your spec.
